FOK Brewing Co. based in Caguas, Puerto Rico have been in production since 2013 when they produced 3 draft beers. Today they have a repertoire of around 50 different beers, which are distributed by Ballester Hermanos Inc and available at their Taproom La Cervecera in Caguas. The name FOK comes from the acronym for “Fresh Of Keg”..

Red Ale (6.2% ABV, 30 IBU)
Red Ale is brewed with 4 Grains and 2 Hops for a bitter crisp flavor. An infusion of local Orange Peel and locally harvested Honey is added to enhance the flavor.

B.O.M.B.S – Brunch-Oatmeal-Mocha-Boosted-Stout (5.7% ABV, 28 IBU)
B.O.M.B.S is brewed with 5 Barley Grains, 3 Hops, Bitter Orange Peel plus an infusion of local Puerto Rican Coffeem Vanilla and Oats. This results in a beer with IPAevel Hops, relatively high alcohol content and a distinct roasty dark malt character.

Pilsner 1295 (5% ABV)
This was FOK’s first lager style beer that was fermented at lower temperatures than the Ale type. Brewed with 100% Pilsner Style Malted Barley and German Style Noble Hops. It has a clean aroma with barley and slightly floral tones.

FOK Brewing Co. Production and Tap Room
We do not have a monthly production volume for FOK but their beers are produced in draft and bottle format and distributed throughout the island by Ballester Hermanos Inc.. They also offer contracting brewing. Their Taproom La Cervecera includes Cocina 727 and they host various activities on most weekends. La Cervecera is open Wednesday & Thursday from 4 – 10pm, Friday & Saturday from 3 – 11pm and Sunday from 3 – 10pm.
