This coming Friday March 8 from 7pm join Jevas Cerveceras at Taberna Boricue to celebrate the determination of Female Homebrewers.
The aim of Jevas Cerveceras is to raise awareness for equity and gender violence. In commemoration of International Women’s Day and International Women’s Brewing Day, they continue for the third consecutive year the Unidas Por La Lucha y La Cerveza event this Friday March 8 from 7:00pm at Taberna Boricua.
Jevas Cerveceras join the efforts of multiple organizations, communities and entities to call for an educational and active awareness-raising message. They invite you to participate in the different activities that will be carried out on march 8 throughout the day in different parts of Puerto rico, and then to meet at Taberna Boricua as an oasis and safe space for everyone.
At Taberna Boricua there will be free beer samples from homebrewers Río Piedras Brewing and Brewricangirl with the following beers available:
- Siempre Vivas Blonde Ale
- Ni Una Más Ni Una Menos IPA
- Liderando Hoppy Pale Ale
Along with the beer there will be local artisans showcasing their work and live music
