Lúpulos Hermanos the Carolina based nano brewery today announced their latest beer: Three Elders Belgian Dubbel.

I contacted Lúpulos William Norris and he kindly sent the following so that you can get a feel for Three Elders

The ‘Three Elders Belgian Dubbel’ is a beer that pays tribute to Belgium’s rich brewing tradition and the wisdom that comes with time. Inspired by the Trappist monks of Belgium, this beer embodies the expertise and devotion required to craft exceptional brews.

On its label, you’ll see three wise elders, a representation of the profound understanding that true beer connoisseurs possess about the nuances of this millennia-old beverage. While in Belgium, they are monks, here in our version, they are three individuals with a shared passion for beer, who have acquired deep knowledge of styles and the brewing process.

This beer showcases a dark amber color and a complex flavor profile that combines notes of caramel, dark fruits, and spices. With a 7% alcohol by volume, it’s a beer that invites contemplation and leisurely enjoyment.

Thanks to Lúpulos Hermanos for the info
