The news is in and Hopslam Ale from Bells Brewery will start shipping in the USA the first week in January. Puerto Rico shipments should start around January 14
So just what is Hopslam? Hopslam is one of Bell’s Speciality Brews made with six different hop varietals that are dded to the brew kettle & culminating with a massive dry-hop addition of Simcoe hops. Hopslam is Bell’s most complkex beer.
The hops are Selected specifically for their aromatic qualities, and give the beer a blend of grapefruit, stone fruit and floral notes. A generous malt bill and a solid dollop of honey provide just enough body to keep the balance in check, resulting in a remarkably drinkable rendition of the Double India Pale Ale style.
Hopslam has an ABV of 10@ and a recommended Shelf Life of 3 months.
