Fall just got a little sweeter in Aguadilla. Boxlab Brewing Co. is throwing its first ever Cocotero Day, a flavor-packed celebration of one of their most beloved beers: Cocotero Stout. Mark your calendars for Saturday, October 4th at The Beer Box, starting at 5:00 p.m. because this is not your average stout release. It’s a full-blown stout experience.
The Legend of Cocotero Stout
Let’s start with the star. Cocotero Stout is a milk stout brewed with coconut and lactose, delivering a smooth, roasty body with tropical sweetness and creamy mouthfeel. It’s been a Boxlab staple for years, poured on draft and packaged in those iconic 12oz cans. Now, it’s getting the spotlight it deserves with a festival in its honor.
Special Releases: Only for Cocotero Day
Boxlab is taking things to the next level with two exclusive Cocotero variants, each brewed just for this event:
- Cocotero Patria Colada (4.8% ABV)
A Piña Colada inspired milk stout made with coconut, pineapple, lactose, and vanilla. This tropical twist is a nod to the original cocktail developed at La Taberna Lúpulo, and it’s pure sunshine in a glass. - Cocotero Pumpkin Spice Latte (4.8% ABV)
Fall in a glass. This rich stout is layered with cinnamon, ginger, clove, allspice, nutmeg, plus vanilla, coconut, and lactose. Think PSL vibes, but dark, smooth, and way more fun.

A Nordic take on a classic Märzen. Fermented with Kveik yeast, this Oktoberfest-style lager brings crisp malt character with a wild yeast edge.
