Cervecería del Callejón

Cervecería de Callejón is a nano brewery that has been in operation since the summer of 2019. The brewery and tap room are based in the heart of Old San Juan, Puerto Rico at 312 Calle San Francisco.

Currently they produce a couple of year round beers and then they rotate their beers of various styles.

Desorden Ejecutiva – IPA (7% ABV)

A Hazy IPA with fruity notes of passion fruit, pineapple and mango

Rienda Suelta – American IPA (6% ABV, 30 IBU)

This is brewed with a Pilsner malt base with a bit af acidulated malt, columbus and Cascada at the whirlpool along with Strat and Citra Lupomax in the dry hop. Has a slight pine and dank aroma with a lot of citrus flavors.

Cervecería de Callejón Rotational Beers

Along with their year round IPA’s they also rotate between Belgian Style Ambers, Dark Ales and Saisons. So you can expect to see some of the following thorough the year

Dinamica Fluid – Farmhouse Ale / Saison (6.5% ABV, 15 IBU)

Brewed with a basic house recipe using Pilsner Barley and Wheat with addition of Loral Hops in the whirlpool, plus around 10lbs of pineapple per barrel. It is finally conditioned in coconut water and cane sugar

Del Cerro – Belgian Blonde (4.5% ABV, 20 IBU)

This is a Belgian Single Ale with a medium ester profile with hints of caramel and banana with a spicy dry finish

Callejón Oscuro – Belgian Style Dark Ale (6.4% ABV, 10 IBU)

Brewed with local Chocolate powder from Mantadero Chocolate, plus cocoa tea that gives a pleasant aroma of chocolate and fruit, that compliments the balance between chocolate and spicy flavors.

Cervecería de Callejón Production and Taproom

Cervecería de Callejón produces between 10 – 20 BBLs per month typically in 2 -3 BBLs per batch.

Their taproom has 8 draft / taps with at least 4 (sometimes all 8) serving Cervecería de Callejón beers. They also offer a varied food menu with live entertainment available most weekends, 

Cervecería de Callejón Taproom is open Monday, Wednesday & Thursday 4 – 10pm, Friday & Saturday Noon – 11pm and Sunday 4 – 10pm
