If you’re looking for one of Puerto Rico’s most unique craft beer events this summer, mark your calendar. Boxlab MiniFest III returns to The Beer Box in Aguadilla on Saturday, August 15, 2026, bringing together craft beer, independent music, creative food, and local artisans for an afternoon celebrating Puerto Rico’s thriving independent culture.
Beginning at 3:00 p.m. and continuing into the evening, this free event showcases everything that makes Boxlab Brewing Co. more than just a brewery, community, creativity, and great beer.

International Music Meets Puerto Rico’s Craft Beer Scene
Headlining this year’s festival is Bufari (Ameen Fari), a Kuwaiti-Puerto Rican DJ and sound engineer making his Puerto Rico debut.
Based in the Arabian Gulf (Khaleej), Bufari has earned recognition throughout the independent music scene for his eclectic open-format DJ sets blending funk, soul, Latin rhythms, and electronic music. His work with community radio projects including The Crate Radio and MiZa Radio, along with appearances at internationally recognized cultural venues like Art Dubai’s Listening Bar and Manarat Al Saadiyat, has made him a respected name among vinyl and music enthusiasts.
Joining Bufari throughout the afternoon will be Puerto Rican selectors CARDOSA and RESTLESS RAINCLOUDS, creating a soundtrack that keeps the festival moving until 10pm
Great Beer Takes Center Stage
While the music sets the atmosphere, craft beer remains at the heart of the experience.
Festival goers can enjoy Boxlab Brewing Co.’s lineup alongside guest beers from Dragon Stone Abbey of Río Grande, giving visitors another opportunity to sample beers from one of Puerto Rico’s respected independent breweries.
Those looking for cocktails won’t be left out either. Fabián Lugo and Pollito will travel from Boxlab’s Old San Juan location to host a special guest bar featuring an exclusive cocktail menu available only during the festival.
Asian Inspired Cuisine and Local Creatives
No Boxlab event would be complete without great food.
This year’s kitchen takeover features Kinoko, whose Asian-inspired cuisine has become a favorite among food lovers looking for bold flavors that pair perfectly with craft beer.
Throughout the venue, visitors can also explore a curated collection of local artists, makers, and independent businesses, including:
- BQN Records
- Earnestamente
- Caracuri Jewelry
- Poking Pixie Handpoke Tattoos
- Phantasma Bakes
The combination of beer, food, music, and local creativity continues to make Boxlab Mini-Fest one of the most distinctive community events on Puerto Rico’s craft beer calendar.
