Some beers are made for the moment. Others are made to be remembered. My Precious, the new collaboration between Beer Me Home and Tripping Animals Brewing Co., firmly falls into the second category. This barrel-aged imperial stout spent 14 months resting in Four Roses bourbon barrels before being conditioned with Puerto Rican cacao nibs and vanilla beans, creating one of the most ambitious releases Beer Me Home has ever brought to market.

Even more exciting, My Precious marks Beer Me Home’s first-ever bottled beer release.

The beer officially launches on Friday, May 29 at 6:00 PM. This is a limited release of 300 bottles.

A Collaboration Years in the Making

Crafted alongside the team from Tripping Animals Brewing Co. in Doral, Florida, My Precious showcases the strengths of both brands. Beer Me Home has become one of Puerto Rico’s most respected craft beer destinations, while Tripping Animals has earned an international reputation for pushing boundaries with bold, creative releases.

Together, they created an imperial stout designed for patience.

After spending more than a year in Four Roses bourbon barrels, the beer developed layers of oak complexity, bourbon warmth, and smooth maturation before receiving additions of locally sourced Puerto Rican vanilla beans and cacao nibs from Aguadilla.

The result is rich, decadent, and remarkably balanced.

My Precious Flavor & Aroma Profile

Aroma

Rich dark chocolate, bourbon-soaked oak, vanilla bean, toasted caramel, and subtle roasted malt.

Malt Character

Full-bodied and deeply layered with notes of bittersweet chocolate, dark caramel, and roasted grains.

Barrel Influence

Four Roses bourbon barrels contribute smooth oak character, gentle whiskey warmth, and hints of vanilla and caramelized sugar.

Finish

Long, warming, and elegant with lingering chocolate, bourbon, and soft vanilla sweetness.

“”Fourteen months in bourbon barrels, Puerto Rican cacao and vanilla, and one unforgettable imperial stout.””

My Precious Barrel Aged Imperial Stout from Beer Me Home and Tripping Animals Brewing Co.

Built for Slow Sipping

At 12.3% ABV, My Precious isn’t a beer meant to be rushed.

Each sip reveals new layers. The Puerto Rican cacao adds depth without overwhelming sweetness, while the vanilla softens the edges and enhances the barrel character. Meanwhile, the bourbon influence remains present but balanced, allowing the beer’s rich malt profile to shine.

This is the kind of stout that rewards patience.

Whether enjoyed fresh or cellared for future occasions, My Precious delivers a premium barrel-aged experience worthy of its name.
