La Esquinita Brewc House is turning up the haze with Visibilidad Cero, a new 6.9% ABV Hazy IPA built around generous additions of Citra, Nectaron, and Galaxy hops and loaded with oats for a silky smooth mouthfeel. The new release is draft only and available at La Esquinita in Bayamón.

The brewery describes its latest creation as juicy, tropical, and citrus forward, backed by a fuller body before finishing bitter and dry. That combination gives Visibilidad Cero the softness and substantial texture associated with a modern Hazy IPA while keeping some bite on the back end.

Aroma & Flavor

Visibilidad Cero is all about juicy tropical and citrus character, with its trio of hops providing the foundation for the beer’s fruit-forward profile.

Mouthfeel

Texture is a major part of what La Esquinita set out to achieve with Visibilidad Cero.

The beer is loaded with oats, helping create the silky smooth mouthfeel described by the brewery. There’s some weight behind it as well, giving the Hazy IPA a substantial body capable of standing up to its generous hop additions.

At 6.9% ABV, Visibilidad Cero has enough strength to complement that fuller texture without crossing into Double IPA territory.

What to Expect From Visibilidad Cero

It should appeal to Hazy IPA drinkers who enjoy the juicy character and smooth texture of the style but still want some noticeable bitterness.

Expect a heavily hazed Hazy IPA with tropical and citrus character, a silky oat-supported mouthfeel, substantial body, and a bitter, dry finish.

Best Enjoyed With

The combination of juicy hop character, fuller body, and drying bitterness makes it well suited to foods with some richness or spice.

Think spicy wings, burgers, tacos, fried chicken, or sharp cheeses. The bitter, dry finish can cut through richer foods, while the tropical-citrus character should work particularly well alongside dishes with a little heat.

Where to Find Visibilidad Cero

Visibilidad Cero is available exclusively on draft at La Esquinita in Bayamón.

PRBG Final Pour

Visibilidad Cero brings together some of the characteristics Hazy IPA drinkers look for juice, haze, expressive hops, and a smooth mouthfeel, but La Esquinita gives the beer some contrast by keeping bitterness and dryness firmly in the finish.

The combination of Citra, Nectaron, and Galaxy provides the tropical citrus direction, while a substantial addition of oats gives the beer its silky texture and fuller body. At 6.9% ABV, Visibilidad Cero balances that softness and juice with enough bitterness to keep things from becoming too heavy.

For Hazy IPA drinkers who prefer their haze with a more assertive finish, Visibilidad Cero is now pouring at La Esquinita in Bayamón.
