Boxtoberfest 2026 is coming to Aguadilla on Saturday, September 19, as The Beer Box celebrates 14 years as part of Puerto Rico’s craft beer scene, alongside the 12th anniversary of its brewing brand, Boxlab Brewing Co.

The anniversary celebration takes place at The Beer Box from 3pm to 10pm, bringing together special Boxlab beer releases, live music, vinyl selections, a kitchen takeover, and a community market for an afternoon and evening built around beer, food, music, and local culture.

14 Years of The Beer Box

The Beer Box has spent more than a decade helping build and support Puerto Rico’s craft beer community from its home in Aguadilla.

Through years of growth and change within the island’s beer industry, the west coast destination has remained focused on its original mission: supporting local beer creators while providing craft beer drinkers with a place to discover what’s brewing in Puerto Rico.

Boxtoberfest 2026 celebrates that 14 year journey while also recognizing another milestone; 12 years of Boxlab Brewing Co.

The Beer Box’s brewing brand has grown alongside the venue, developing its own identity through a lineup of year-round, experimental, and seasonal beers.

And for the anniversary, Boxlab is bringing back two releases.

DEMOLICIÓN Returns at 10% ABV

Leading the beer lineup is the return of the original DEMOLICIÓN, an American Strong Ale at 10% ABV.

It’s an appropriately big beer for an anniversary celebration, bringing back the original version of one of Boxlab’s stronger releases.

Joining it will be FEST IPA, a returning Seasonal India Pale Ale at 6% ABV.

The two beers offer very different ways to toast the anniversary.

DEMOLICIÓN

  • American Strong Ale
  • 10% ABV
  • Original version returns for the celebration

FEST IPA

  • Seasonal India Pale Ale
  • 6% ABV
  • Returning seasonal release

Live Music and Vinyl at Boxtoberfest 2026

The celebration goes beyond what’s pouring from the taps.

CRVZ will perform live, bringing its indie-Caribbean sound to Boxtoberfest, while PHONOWARP will be spinning selections on vinyl throughout the event.

The combination of craft beer and independent music fits naturally with the atmosphere The Beer Box has cultivated in Aguadilla over the years.

LaChona Takes Over the Kitchen

Boxtoberfest will also feature a special Kitchen Takeover / Pop-Up from LaChona.

The culinary collaboration gives attendees a dedicated food option during the seven-hour celebration and adds another local component to the anniversary festivities.

Shop Local at the Community Market

The Beer Box is bringing several local brands and creatives into the celebration with a Boxtoberfest community market.

Announced participants include Ink Boutique, Padín Sosa, Tierrita Dulce, and BQN Records, giving visitors another reason to explore the event between beers, food, and music.

PRBG Final Pour

Boxtoberfest 2026 isn’t simply an anniversary party. It brings together many of the elements that have helped define The Beer Box over its 14 years in Aguadilla: Puerto Rican craft beer, independent music, local food, and community.

Boxlab Brewing Co.’s 12th anniversary adds another reason to celebrate, especially with the original 10% ABV DEMOLICIÓN and FEST IPA returning to the taps.

For craft beer fans in western Puerto Rico — or anyone looking for an excuse to head west – September 19 at The Beer Box should be one to mark on the calendar.
