Seven years ago, Reina Mora Brewing opened its doors in Sabana Grande with a clear vision and a simple belief: that a beer crafted with intention could bring people together in a way that feels honest, local, and alive. Now, as Reina Mora Brewing 7th Anniversary takes center stage, that original idea has fully taken flight. What began as a small “nest” with a handful of tanks and an intimate setting has grown into one of Puerto Rico’s most recognized craft breweries.

Over time, something real began to build. Little by little, glass by glass, the community embraced the brewery and became part of its story. The taproom filled. The events grew. And the Reina Mora name started traveling far beyond Sabana Grande. That support shaped the brand into more than just a brewery. It became a gathering place. A familiar space where quality beer and genuine connection meet.
Today, Reina Mora Brewing stands out not only for what’s in the glass, but for the experience around it. The atmosphere remains warm and personal, grounded in consistency, creativity, and a deep connection to the community that helped it grow.
A Milestone Year Marked by Expansion
This seventh anniversary arrives at a pivotal moment. While the brewery celebrates its journey so far, it is also actively building toward its future with the largest expansion in its history. The project represents a significant leap forward, designed to increase production capacity while opening new doors for innovation.
The expansion includes the addition of an automated canning line, allowing Reina Mora to extend its reach across Puerto Rico with greater efficiency. At the same time, the upgraded infrastructure will support a wider range of beer styles and more experimental releases, giving the brewing team room to push creative boundaries even further.
This kind of growth carries weight beyond a single brewery. It reflects the strength of Puerto Rico’s craft beer scene as a whole. When local breweries invest in quality, scale responsibly, and stay connected to their community, they elevate the entire industry.

Anniversary Celebration: April 11–12
To mark the occasion, Reina Mora Brewing will host a two-day anniversary celebration on April 11 and 12 at its Sabana Grande location. The event is designed to capture everything the brewery represents, blending beer, music, food, and culture into one immersive experience.
Attendees can expect a full lineup of activities, including new beer release (Bembé New Zealand Pilsner) , guest bartenders, live music performances, and DJ sets that will carry the energy throughout the weekend. Food pop-ups will complement the beer offerings, while curated experiences add another layer to the celebration.
The event takes place at what many regulars know as “La Pajarita’s nest,” a space that has become synonymous with the Reina Mora experience.
Built by Community, Driven by What’s Next
As Reina Mora Brewing reaches this seven-year milestone, the message is clear. The journey has been shaped by the people who have supported it from the beginning, as well as those discovering it for the first time. That continued support is what allows the brand to keep evolving and reaching new heights.
Looking ahead, the brewery remains focused on growth without losing sight of its roots. The expansion signals a future filled with more beer, more creativity, and a stronger presence across the island.
For now, the focus turns to celebration. A moment to raise a glass to the past, recognize the present, and welcome what comes next.
