Cacique Brew Co. is back at it. This time, they’re teaming up with talented homebrewer Luis Rodríguez from the mountain town of Morovis. The result? LA Lager, a crisp American lager built for hot summer days and easy sipping. Clocking in at 4.6% ABV, this refreshing new release is all about clean flavor, craft precision, and Puerto Rican pride.

LA Lager is a Local Collaboration with Big Flavor
The story behind LA Lager starts at home, literally. The recipe was crafted by Luis Rodríguez himself. Cacique Brew Co. then scaled it up for commercial release, adding their signature touch. It’s a win for local craft beer and the growing community of passionate Puerto Rican homebrewers.
What’s in the Glass?
This American-style lager is brewed with a base of corn and barley, delivering a light body and pale straw color. It’s topped with a frothy white head and lively carbonation. The use of noble hops adds structure without overpowering bitterness. Expect grain-forward aromas, low bitterness, and a super clean finish.
Fermented Low, Lagered Long
True to tradition, Cacique doesn’t rush the process. LA Lager is fermented at low temperatures and given plenty of time to lager, enhancing clarity, brightness, and flavor stability. That patience pays off in every crisp, sparkling sip.
